Kuching Trip - Day 4

Date : 4th April 2010
Vanue : Damai and Kuching, Sarawak

Pejam celik pejam celik dah 4 ari kitaorg kat Bumi Kenyalang nih..huhu dah sampai last day ruphernyer..Ermm first thing we did was having our bekpes..The breakfast there mmg marvelous larr..egg station dia sentiasa line up pjg..sian gak tgk staff kat ctu, x menang tgn.tp dah mmg jod derang kan..hehe.ayah as usual dgn omelette nyerr.. (ayah's fav). They served variety food for their guest. yummy.. yummy..yummy.

Beach Time..

Our next activity was playing at the beach..actually dah lama sgt Ira request nk main sand kat beach but br kali nie dpt peluang... Mama also would like to highlight here that this is the first exprience for Hana main air laut..haha. Org Semenanjung but 1st time touch air laut kat Sarawak nun..cm mama ckp td lar br kali nih berkesempatan introduce Hana ngan air laut. Previously during our visit to Penang, we did go to beach but that time Hana was sleeping. Besides Hana just 2 month - 3 months age that time..kecik lg.

Hana was very excited playing with the waves..terkekek2 Hana gelak..but different story with Ira..Ira cam takut-takut laks..She's preferred main pasir but when saw Hana enjoyed playing with the waves, Ira pun join jgk lar. Hana plak when mama lpskan main kat beach, sume mende nak msk mulut...abih pasir pun nk msk mulut..x bole jadi then mama angkat ler..but bila mama dukung, Hana excited plak nk join ayah & kakak Ira main pasir..

Dah puas main pasir & air laut kitaorg naik mandi kat pool plaks..Lg skali Ira & Hana terjun pool sepanjang kat Sarawak nih..hehe. hah main puas2 ye cyg2 mama, dah lama kan mintak kat mama nk mandi pool...Masa ayah tgh sibuks layan Ira main air, mama ngan Hana lepak kat baby pool..mmg ramai sgt org kat ctu..so sempat la mama menyembang ngan sorang aunty nih..org Kuching gaks..dia la bgtau mama kat mn nk cr souvenir utk bwk balik.

Mama nk carik t-shirt utk Ira n Hana..so far memana vacation yg we had, musti ader one t-shirt utk anak2 mama nih. Bukan aper utk kenang-kenangan...aunty yg baik atie tu jugak bgtau mama yg Pasar Satok tutup at 1pm...huhu dah terlepas peluang nk cuci2 mata kat pasar tue. Glamer gak pasar tu sbb those who have visited Kuching, the market will be one of their destination. Our ealier plan was to visit Pasar Satok after check out from Damai Beach Resort. so kn la tuko plan pastu. Sempat gak aunty tu kasik Hana a pack of cake. Thanks Aunty..sori mama lupa lak nama aunty tue..

By the time Ira dah kesejukan & Hana pun dah main ngan puas, we headed to our room to get change and packing up our stuff, Hana dah terlentok kat bahu mama on the way to our room. After mandikan Ira and let her have some nap, then we checkout. We checkout a bit late but luckily no extra charge for that...heheh.Then we moved to Kuching city center by shuttle, since plan nk pegi Pasar Satok dah kn called off so blur x tau nk g mana so lepak lg kat Waterfront and have our lunch. Oleh kerana byk sgt barang nk kn angkut, so we searching for place that can we can put our thing for temporary. Ssh gak nk dpt the place & kedai yg sudi jaga. Alhamdulilah ade tourist police yg sudi tumpangkan sekejap our luggage..Thanks to the tourist police.

Then we jln2 kat area2 city center tu and at the same time captured sum pic.This time Ira dah x der mood dah nk posing compare to earlier day we in Kuching..dia x penat nk pose dah. So thats why x byk gmbr Ira snapped. We also went to Parkson again to looking for Hana's shoes. Actually one of Hana's shoe left at Cultural Village...syg betoi la..cmner bole tertinggal kat mini theatre aritue..Lagipun, mama worry nnti dlm flight Hana kesejukan without the shoes sbb sumer socks Hana dah kotor. Pastu pegi cari sourvenir sket2 and t-shirt Sarawak for Hana & Ira. At about 6pm we catched taxi to Airport. Around 6.20pm we reached there.

Mama silap tgk departure time kitaorg, shud be at 8.50pm but in my mind was at 8.10pm hahah..cmno bole jadi camtuh..After check in, then we just lepak2, mandikan Hana & performed Maghrib prayers. At 8.30pm we already queuing up to board to aircraft.Our flight delayed about 45 minutes because of small issue. Dkt pukul 9.30 br our flight took off...tension jek berapa kali the steward tu check every passenger flight ticket... Hana yg memula enjoy dlm plane tu lama2 jd bosan n mengamuk..penat ayah coolkan Hana..Once the flight took off Hana & Ira slept. At around 11.15pm we safely touched down at LCCT, Sepang. alhamdulillah..My sister already waited for us there.Ira still sleeping but Hana woke up already and smile when we get in to our car.

Fuhh!!..Finally abes gak mama update entry for our Kuching Trip...tgh ade ms terluang skang nih..lgpun otak tgh lapang-selapangnyersbb tgh semester break so mama gunakan la memerah idea to jot down every single moment that we had in Kuching. It was memorable journey for us although there are some places we not adviseable to go because we have baby.

Insyaallah if we have another opportunity, may be we can arrange another trip to Kuching. Wait for Ira & Hana dah besar sket kot probably when they are at schooling age..biar derang phm sket ape yg ade kat cni..ok la ponek dah mengarang..thanks kepada yg sudi membaca coretan mama nih..till then bye...

Kuching Trip - Day 3

Date : 3rd April 2010
Vanue: Kuching and Damai, Sarawak

Erm jom kita smbg citer kitaorg kat Kuching..Day 3 in Kuching, arini we will checkout and moved to Damai to check in Damai Beach Resort or previously known as Holiday Inn Damai Beach Resort. This resort also mama booked thru online before we came to Kuching. We've planned to be in Kuching for 4 days and 3 nite so sajer je la nk merasa stay kat beach in Kuching...tukar angin from angin city to angin beach..hehe.

So lps sumer dah bgn tdo, dlm kol 8.30am cmtu, we went to 18 floor to have our breakfast. Again we served with nice breakfast. Hana pun selera mkn rice porridge but yg kosong nyer..once mama add on sup, Hana dah x mo..Ira lak sempat mkn telur separuh masak..pastu dok sibuk suruh ayah bakar roti for her. Mmg purposely pegi sn x mandi sbb nnti siap2 sumer trs checkout.

At hotel lobby while waiting for the Damai Beach Resort shuttle

It was rainy day that day. At 10.00am we checkout from the hotel because we already made appoinment with the Damai Beach Resort shuttle to fetch us at 10.15am. After about 1 hour waiting for the shuttle at Hotel lobby then we recieved a call from resort informed that their shuttle having problem to reach hotel on time. So we resheduled the trip to 12.15pm with assistance of the hotel staff. Thank God, this time the shuttle reached on time. Luckily there was a pc available at the hotel lobby so we can use the pc to surf internet so x de la boring sgt..Kalau tak mati kutu jugak lar...Ira used the waiting time to play her fav site Starfall game. Hana laks dah bosan menunggu trs tdo.. ye la kan dgn cuaca dingin mencucuk kalbu tuh..sedap la Hana beradu..

There was a reason why we dun wan to hire taxi to go to Damai Beach Resort. From Kuching if we took taxi, they will cost us a lot. ( RM 120 one way) but if we use the shuttle services we will be charge at RM 16 per person. See how much we can save..So for me, the best way to get to the Damai Beach or Sarawak Cultural Village (because it is located nearby the Damai Beach Resort) is using the shuttle services.

We took about 45 minutes to reach Damai Beach Resort. The resort's website http://www.damaibeachresort.com/ for more info. A long the way, it was still raining but not that heavy. Mama sampai terlelap2 menunggu nk sampai resort tue. From Kuching, the journey go through the spectacular peninsular of Santubong at which Damai seaside resorts are located. We passed by the Santubong Mount on the way to the resort. It was nice resort but that a bit crowded that day. When ayah asking one of the resort staff, he mentioned that, that place always pack during weekend, public holiday & school holiday. One more thing, mama n ayah never noticed that weekend, Sarawak state celebrated Good Friday celebration so they had long weekend. Patut la ramai org...Sampai2 je kitaorg disajikan dengan alunan music tradiotional Sarawak using 'Sape'..Baru la terasa betoi2 kat Sarawak hahha...

Lunch time

We checked in at about 1.45pm since our room not yet ready then we proceed to visit Cultural Village (Kampung Budaya). One of the staff ckp, Kalu pegi sini dah mcm pusing satu Sarawak la..hahaha. We went they by resort shuttle within 5 minutes driving. Actually from the resort we're also can go there by walking, just nearby (with 8-10 min). The resort staff treated us nicely and friendly. The 'pakcik' arranged everything for us including send our luggage to our room when it was ready. He also drove us to the Cultural Village and provide us 2 umbrellas for our convenience to go thru the village. We bought the enterance ticket at the resort at rm55 per person. huhu mahai gak erk nk masuk mende alah nih...tapi memikirkan dah alang2 sampai sini belasah je la msk. Luckily Hana & Ira still free so mama & ayah je lah..kn bayau..

At Cultural Village

First thing we did, when entering the village is taking our lunch la..lapo giler dah masa tuh. There a small restaurant inside so all the visitors will have their dine there. By the time we reached there, most of the menu all out of stock already. So we managed to have set asam laksa and nasik lemak jerk..huhu. Jadikla nk ilang dondang sayang perut masing2..Dah kenyang 'isi minyak' then we started our exploration. There are 7 houses inside the village Rumah Bidayuh, Rumah Iban, Rumah Melanau, Rumah Penan, Rumah Melayu, Rumah Orang Ulu and Rumah Chinese. Every single house have their own attraction. For example in Rumah Iban, the visitor can have opportunity to wear the Sarawak Ethnic costume together with accessories at RM10.

At Rumah Orang Penan, ayah try his skill menyumpit..wah fantastic ayah..he manage to strike the target at his last trial. caya lah Ayah!!..Bile turn sampai kat Rumah Orang Ulu, mama mengucap panjang..haha..nk tau sbb aper?..Mak oi tggi nyer tangga dia, dah la tgh ujan rintik2 so possiblity licin tu ader..huhu..penuh dgn berhati2 mama naik tangga sambil dukung Hana while Ira ayah dukung, takut gak Ira tergelincir..sampai atas tu mama dah mengah..huhu..al-maklum la dah lama x excercise..hehe. Dlm umah tu ade jual kerepek ubi Sarawak.then ade org buat tatoo (x silap kn charge rm3). Then ade Sape (the Sarawak Traditional musical instrument).. Uncle kat atas tue nk pegang hana, memula Hana cm sengih2 gak la suker but at last nangis lak Hana comel nih....br perasan kot tgn lain..

Rumah Orang Melanau pun kn panjat tangga gak..curam gak la..but x de pape sgt kat atas, we missed visit Sagu house there, because we were rushing for Cultural show at 4.00 pm. Ayah pun dah teruja nak tgk ade gelanggang gasing kat umah Melayu beside the Umah Melanau tu. Sampai je ayah kat Gelanggang gasing tu, ayah cm lps gian laks..ayah ckp dah berpuluh taun x sentuh gasing..but not bad ayah skills hehehe...also kn charge rm2 for 3 trial.

But kat rumah Melayu and umah chinese kitaorg x sempat nk go thru sgt pun..sbb nk kejar cultural show. so ayah just amik chop for the passport..oppss lupa nk citer psl passport. At the ticket counter we will provided with a passbook. This passbook we used to get the chop from each of the house that we visited. wonder gak kenapa nak get the chop..but x mende pun...just for fun jerk..igtkan ade la rewards ke ape ke? hehe..

The cultural show

Then we proceed to Cultural show dkt mini theatre.We were just in time...Ira enjoyed the show but Hana mcm gelisah x mo duduk diam then terpaksa la mama bwk Hana kuar to cool her. Hana was not crying but seem not comfortable inside there.The dancer used costumes and elegant dance routines provide an entertaining and enjoyable introduction to Sarawak's ethnic groups and their cultures. There are two cultural performances each day, scheduled at : 11.30 am and 4.00pm. At 4.45pm the show ended. The resort shuttle already waiting us outside..excellent service la..suker sgt..punctual.

Nite @ Damai Beach Resort

That nite, we spent our nite walking around the resort. There was a wedding ceremony consider as grand ceremony caused they burned up a lot of beautiful fireworks in very long time. rsnye kalah firework masa new year..mmg lama and nice + colorful fireworks..Ira & Hana memula cm takut but end up suker lak tgk kaler warna warni dgn pelbagai bentuk created...rsnyer anak tokey balak kot kawen..mmg grand giler wedding. Since Hana dah meragam nk tdo maybe she tired, we went back to our room and had room services for our dinner. Although we had a good room but mama still unsatisfied cause we didnt get the view that we requested for..dh komplen derang ckp x der bilik la, itu la, ini lar..so dpt room yg facing garden..huhu.we requested for pool view. One more thing was the air-cond too cold. We need to off the air cond sumtimes to feel better. It also maybe because of the whole day raining.

Terpanjang lak celoteh mama for this N3. hehe layanzz je lah....

Kuching Trip - Day 2

Yeah Day 2 in Kuching..kat cni kol 7am dia dah mcm kol 8am kita kat Semenanjung..pastu br mama teringat kan kalu bln poce derang akan bukak puasa awal 1 jam dr kiter kat Semenanjung so kn alert ngan waktu semayang derang kat cni..kalu x terbabas..ahaks..

Morning at Kuching

Pg2 mama dah dpt msg & kol from Asia bg tau that Hana's luggage dah jumpa..alhamdulillah..ade lg rezki Hana nk pakai bj2 jalan dia..and they ask us to fetch the luggage at the Kuching Airport.satu keja lak plak..huhu..mmg spoil la kan time kitaorg patut g jenjalan but kn spend g airport laks..dah nasib..nak buek cmno? so lps mandi & siap sume, we had our breakfast at level 18. We had a good n variety food for our breakfast that day..from the restaurant we can see kuching city view n of course the Sarawak River. can see Kuching is a big city..a lot of buildings but the traffic was that pack.

Bag Hana yg 'missing'

After 'isi minyak' sumer then we catched shuttle to go to Airport to get Hana's missing bag. Then we headed back to Hotel. At 12pm cmtuh kitaorg kuar then we went to Sarawak Pottery Factory. Hajat di hati mama mmg la nk borong satu dua pasu2 kat situ mmg murah compare price kat outside and got discount somemore..but ayah ckp ssh sbb kitaorg pun dah byk brg..nnti mn nk dukung anak, mn nk jg brg haha..so lupakan je la hasrat hati tuh..huk huk huk. Kagum gak la dgn org yg buat pottery tu..mmg handyman ..dia buat x yah ade pape ukuran pun but the outcome sebijik samer size jerk sumer..huh..tu nama nyer talent & also skill ye dak..

Then we made a visit to Kek Lapis Dayang Salmah factory kat Kampung Gersik. One more time we need to ride the small boat to visit that factory.It seems a famous place to visit cause most of guest who come to kuching will be there to buy the one and only famous ole2 kat sarawak which is Kek Lapis Sarawak. We are having opportunity to enter the kitchen to see how the Kek Lapis process. You can see variety choices of Kek Lapis here and they also give a table for testing purposes. Too much choices sampai pening nk pilih yg mana satu nk beli. Here u can buy the Kek Lapis at RM10..very cheap rite!! and they also provide box packing for free if we need it. So mama borong sekotak je la (6 biji kek lapis jerk)...nnti x larat nk usung plaks..haha

Dlm kol 5pm cmtu blk otel sbb nk kasik chance kat Ira n Hana main pool.Dah siap tukar bj sumer skali trn kat swimmimg pool ari ujan..so kitaorg lepak dulu kat gym la..ira ckp exercise..hehe..ape lg Ira masa tu dok menari sakan la..kan ade cermin besar, dok terkumat kamit lagu 'wonder girl' nobody tuh..haha..Hana dok merangkak ke sana sini dok ikut ayah..sbb gym tu kitaorg je kat sana masa tuh..so conquere la abis-abisan..

Bile ujan dah reda sket, Ira n Ayah terjun pool dulu..Hana cm excited gak nk terjun tp mama hold dulu..ujan dh reda betoi2 br mama let Hana main air..wah excited nyer Hana. ni pun 1st experince for Hana pakai swimming suit n mandi pool tp mama x bwk float utk Hana & Ira sbb kiter jalan jauh..nnti la erk kita g mana2 kita mandi ngan float plaks..Ira pun dah independent kat kolam dah bole main2 sendirik. Dulu musti ayah kn follow dr blkg..sibuk dok ckp Ira dah besar, Ira dah pandai..(msk bakul angkat sendirik je Ira nih..hehe). memula cm Ira x mau nk mandi sbb Ira ckp kaki Ira sakit sbb before we board to Kuching ade la luka sket kat kaki Ira tuh..tu yg dia claim sakit kaki x bole nk mandi....tapi bile nmpk ayah dah terjun elok je dia offer nk terjun samer..hehe..

Mlm tu ayah g buat laundry..haha suprise kan?? actually that hotel ade service utk cuci kain besides laundry service. They provide washing machine at several floor for their guest to use.Dah siap basuh bj sumer then we went to Pekan Satok for our dinner. There's a lot of stalls and we can have variety food to order but the place quite crowded..dah kenyang we went back to hotel and ape lg zzzzzzzzzz..ponek satu hari berjalan n need to save energy for tomorrow itenary..hehe

Kuching Trip - Day 1

Date : 1st April 2010

Alhamdullilah hajat mama nk jejak kaki di bumi kenyalang dimakbulkan Allah. Memula cm dah x jadi dah..sbb memikirkan mama ade class..mama booked the ticket last year in October 2009 so mana la nk tau ade clash ngan my class.But lps pk drp pd hangus duit tiket sedekah kat air asia tu..mama sacrifies la..huk huk huk..

Actually mmg bersemangat pd mula sbb nk compeletekan mama nye mission nak settlekan my pending visit 1 Malaysia. Lau nak tau, Sarawak is the only state in Malaysia that i've not reach yet so far..hahaha..tu yg semangat tuh..alhamdulillah mission accomplish!! yeaa haa!! pasni bole la start tour luo negeri plaks..kekeke.. lau ade budget lebey la..insyaaAllah..

This is a memorable trip for Hana as well becoz this the first flight exprience for her (at age 9 months and 8 days).A bit ealier compared to Ira's flight experience which was to Kelantan at 10 months and 5 day..

But about the same age becoz both also fly on April..what a coincidence..Since our flight at 8.20am so we need to reach LCCT at about 7.20 am at least. Biasa air asia 45 minutes before check in. Kang x psl2 x sampai Kuching kitaorg..huhu sedis jerk..abih punah semangat yg berkobar2 tuh.

So malam tue mama br start packing barang2..then bgn kol 5am nk siapkan sume mende nk bwk g sana..kalu fikir mmg tiring but dgn mood holiday tuh x rs pape pun hahha..itu la org pggl phsycology..Ira n Hana pun x byk songeh..kejut jek trs bgn cm tau2 je nk jln jauh..hehe..derang nih lau bwk berjalan mmg sporting x byk ragam..tu yg senang nk angkut anak2 mama nih..ade gak org tanya x penat ke jln jauh then bring kids together.. penat mmg la penat but hati puas sbb both of my princess depan mata rather than tgglkan derang asyik teringat kat derang aper kes.??hehe

We moved to LCCT, Sepang @6.15am. Thanks to Mak Long for sending us there. our flight take off at 8.20 am as per schedule. Luckily no delay that day. About 10.10am we safely reached Kuching International Airport and need to pass the imegresen counter check. There they will issue a passport or can call as pass to enter Kuching city. Mcm kat luo negeri laks..but Kota Kinabalu pun samer jgk..we need to go thru this procedure.. Then ms nk pick our luggage, we miss Hana's cute bag..huhu..ponek tggu sampai dah x luggage org lain dah..but x der, then we made report to their Customer Service Center at 2nd floor. We been told the luggage mmg x der..but they asked to fill in one formand ask us to give them sometime to find the bag...huh..mama dah sedis dah..dah la bag Hana..bj2 sume kelengkapan Hana dlm tuh..cam nk hangin jgk..tp bwk byk2 besabo..

Lps setel kat Air Asia Cust Service, we went to Mc Donald to have our breakfast..lewat betoi bekpes that..Then we are looking for Rental car..but mak oi mahhal nyer..rental car kat sana..mmg x berbaloi lar..kita org dok compare ngan Langkawi yg most famous from Kuching tu pun x semahal tuh..mmg kn berjimat sbb lau nk amek rental car tu..mmg x heaven la kitaorg nye vacation..so at last we move to Hotel by taxi.We checked in at 360 Hotel where mama booked online. Not sure how was the hotel actual condition. Mama select the hotel base on the review from the guest and the price advertise for the 3 star hotel. Memula cm nk check in kat Pullman sbb ms tu tgh ade offer..but akibat buat keputusan lambat sgt then the promotion price no more..so gigit jari je la..kn la cr otel lain...Cari otel pun last minutes nasib la dpt.

The name of the hotel sound funny but the hotel very nice and affordable..it just 3 star hotel but the room and service are tip top..i recommend this hotel to anybody who wish to come to kuching. The hotel website http://www.360kuching.com/ Although, the location a bit far from city center but they have shuttle service for their guest to be to city center. The staff also very nice and friendly..My hubby and I like the room most. Nice deco and good facilities..beyond our expectation...Nice deco and good facilites. Can see Sarawak river view from our room. Hana really enjoyed our rooms because she have a big space to crawl..hehe..Ira was sleeping while we're in to the room.

After taking some rest, in the evening we went to city center and take fresh air walking at Woterfront Fuh..nikmat je rs angin sepoi2 bahasa dia..again thank god for let me be there..dah lm sgt teringin nk tgk Waterfront, finally i made it..:). Sempat la naik sampan2 kecik2 tu pegi kat area Astana but nothing much there. Then we request Pakcik sampan tu to bring us to the next jeti (called Kg Boyan) kat situ happening sket ade stall n happening music so ape lagi kitaorg pun bersantap la...sume dah kelaparan..haha...cuak jgk nk mkn kat situ x konfiden halal ke tak but after ayah survey then confrim halal then proceed je la..not bad their cook..

After that we proceed with 'itenary wajib' if visiting kuching..apelg lau x amik gmbr kat Cat statue tgh2 bandar tu,,hehehe..musti amik tuh..bukti dah sampai kuching..haha. dah ponek bergambar then we headed to Parkson to buy sum stuffs for Hana ye la brg2 nye dah ilang so borong la sket bj2 utk Hana..cian Hana..tp lau betoi2 ilang mmg sakit jiwa gak la..becoz sume bj Jalan Hana gone..dah la bj dia bole thn gak reger nyer.. rege baju baby mengalahkan bj org dewasa..Ayah pun beli brg sket2 utk mama msk for that nite kat Giant bwh tue.Mlm tu kitaorg just lpk kat bilik. Hana pun tdo awl mmg xbyk ragam lau bwk berjalan..selalu nk tdo kn ade buai la ape la..but that day tido sendrik jer..hehhe so senang sket mama nk msk2..but equipment cm periuk belanga x brp nk complete..so satu periuk tu je la kitaorg msk nasi,masak sardin, msk maggi..kuali derang x provide plaks so ssh sket nk buat keje..so blasah je la masak ala cincai.... pas mkn sume mata pun dah berat ..then trs beradu dgn nyaman nyer..hehe

We've been there for our Zohor prayer that day after visited the hot balloon fiesta. This mosque known as 'Masjid Besi' may be because from outside its look like steel yg disusun mcm kerangaka. But it is nice and unique mosque. Actually the name of the mosque is Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin. Its located in presint 3 nearby the hot balloon fiesta event.The facilities of the mosque still not yet fully function such as escalator, even signboard also still not complete and can make people confuse to go to prayer hall. The jubah counter also not yet start operate at the moment on ly the counter available..:)

I love this mosque because it's used open air concept where there is no wall built for the mosque. So people who are praying inside the mosque will get fresh air..Beside the nice view and nice architecture, the mosque located beside the Putrajaya lake. Mama take this opportunity to snap pic..Igtkan mama sorang je buat keje cmtuh..almost most of the visitor did the same thing..hahaha..x pelik sgt la kan?

Hot Balloon Fiesta

Ermmm mama cam hv no idea to start merepek kat sini...amik masa nk start gear nih..haha.Sbb mende dah lps so kn refresh memory la plak kan..

Ok,since smlm nyer mama dah janji nk bwk Ira n Hana tgk hot balloon then kena la kotakan janji..x baik menghampakan derang kan..? That day,we moved to Putrajaya at 11.30am becoz we waited for Ayah Chik to reach there. Ayah Chik nk pass ole2 from Terengganu cause he just back from Terengganu for attending his friends wedding. On Friday, Mak long pun dah 'provoke' ira psl belon panas tue cause Mak Long's office just besides the event..so Ira pun dah excited nk pegi...

We reach there at about 12.00pm. Luckily we managed to get 'legal' parking area..tempat redup laks tuh.. Alhamdulillah mmg rejeki..mmg ramai org..ade yg parking atas jambatan ape lak nama bridge tu..x silap, Jambatan Wawasan..then menapak to tapak fiesta...memula nk parking kat ctu gaks but ade satu couple tu ckp jauh lau parking kat situ better parking depan sket. dkt sket ngan tapak fiesta..Thanks a lot to that couple lau dak berpeluh jgk la nk sampai tapak fiesta tuh..heheh

When we reached there, only three hot balloons was still flying.. a bit disappointed lar..huk huk huk. Its totally out of my imagination.  What was in my mind was there's a lot ballon flying over here and there. Just like in news paper and TV. But the balloon only flying  around 15 minutes, then the three hot balloon diturunkan and packed...Luckyla we manage to snap photo with the hot balloon lau x mmg penat g je la dtg.. Mmg x bernasib baik la coz not much thing we can see on that fiesta..wondering may be we went there at wrong timing..mama pun x check the organizer schedule.. (http://www.myballoonfiesta.com/)

Fiesta pun biasa2 jerk..dah nk sampai kol 2pm cmtu byk yg dah nk tutup..huhu..Tempat belon mainan bdk2 tu pun dah kn bungkus..igtkan nk kasik chance kat ira main kat ctu..mmg mengecewakan lar our visit that day..br kol 2pm tp sume cm dah nk tutup..but it was hot day..Aniway, Ira sempat gak ngepaw Ayah Chik nyer beli nk pistol air bubble tuh..Thanks yerk Ayah Chik.

                          

Since no more attraction at the fiesta so then we headed to new mosque at Putrajaya..(Masjid Besi). Mama will update the story in next N3 ok..till then bye...

International Book Fair 2010

Actually there's a lot of pending entry for our March activity...kekeke...(mcm org2 korporat nyer statement laks)..so mama will try update one by one. Since now mama are on Merdeka mood. (semester break..hooreyyy!!!)...hopefully mama manage to update the entry by end of this month...insyaallah..

Ok lets talk about this entry...Its was second time we've been to the International Book Fair. The first time was on year 2007,  that time Ira was 9 months year old. And of course first time for Hana to be there....Not many booth we managed to visit because we 'pause' too long at the Karangkraf booth...heheh.. Actually we have plan 2 places to visit that weekend..the other one was '2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Ballon Fiesta 2010'.  After asking Ira which one she prefer to go first then Ira ckp dia nk tgk book...so mama & ayah bwk pegi book fair dulu la..then the next day we went to the hot air balloon fiesta..

Masa kat book fair tu mama ckp kat ayah..if my prof know that i'm bringing my kids to the book fair, sure he will be happy becoz he really suker sgt2 if his students  encourage their kids to love books + readings habit ..dia ckp drp bwk g TESCO ..JUSCO.. better pegi library..hahha..ooooooh No...mama x sampai that level lg... but i'll try my best to encourage ira & hana to have reading habits...sbb mama derang ni pun x la rhajin sgt baca-membaca nih...huhuhu... teruks kan..hahah ( kn improve nih ) :)-

Yeaah..yeaah..My Rafhana dah bole melangkah (without support)..ermm mama pun very excited dengan Hana's progress. Hana start stepping own her own at  9 months 18 days...faster compared to my elder daughter Ira, she starting her first steps at  her 1 year old..mcm x percaya ye jgk...sbb she just 9 months old..dulu mama just heard org lain ckp anak derang jln at that age..but now my eyes become the witness of that..what a great moment..

Mama admire Hana's spirit..how she's struggle to up after she walking for a few steps and down. Dear Hana, bkn senang nk dapat 'kaki' ye cayang..kn kerja keras..setakat arini the most step that Hana berjaya melangkah 8 steps...well done Hana..trskan melangkah ye cyg..there is a lot of things to explore and learn..

Bole tak bagi Ira jadi flower girl?

That was the question smsed to me by Kak Suria 2 weeks before her sister (Sukma) wedding at kampung. My answer was up to Ira becoz shes the one who will take the challenge..betoi x? Then mama tanya Ira and Ira agreed..memula Ira cam blur jgk la but after explained to her what she need to do and also showed her my wedding photo with my flower girl then she agreed...Then mama tanya ayah whether he's ok or not with that request...and ayah pun bagi green lite..then my answer was 'Yes' la.

Tak sangka jawapan Yes mama tuh dah menggembirakan hati Kak Suria sekuarga..Dia ckp, dia dah tanya sumer anak sedara dia but none of them nak jadi flower girl for that wedding ceremony.Ade yg takut, ade yg malu...Luckily Ira nak..Ira mmg suka bab2 tuh..pakai baju princess, pakai crown, pakai kasut high heel...dah nama pun anak dara..hehe

Ade citer in the morning of ceremony, Ira suddenly ckp, "mama Ira x nak la jadi flower girl". Cuak gak mama dgr. Apesal lak anak aku nih. All the dress & accessories for flower girl Mak Long Suria dah beli....mama tanya la kenapa? tapi Ira tak jawab....huhu. Alahai susah hati mama sekejap..ye la nnti cam ruined majlis org & also menghampakan harapan org la...At last lps mandi2 sumer, tetiba Ira cam excited lak nk jadi flower girl laks..Ira ni sajer je la..

Since rumah opah jadi tempat keluarga pengantin lelaki bertanggah so mama quite busy entertained guest kat rumah and Ira Mak Long bawa pegi rumah kenduri utk make up and didandan..cece..mcm Ira lak nk naik pelamin..hahhaa.

My Thahirah

At 2.00pm time for bride & bridgroom bersanding, my Thahirah turun from tangga with her flower girl dress. The dress looked a bit 'ceksi' but nice dress..Actually, Ira mmg since kecik never pakai baju tali kecik tuh...aniway thanks a lot Mak Long Suria for the dress. Trs dpt dress tue as gift from Mak Long Suria to Ira..Ira sporting lak tuh...maintain je jalan mengiringi the bride & bridgroom and also at the pelamin. Paham2 je la dah nama pun bersanding, camera kiri kanan atas bwh la..but Ira cool jerk. Her face didnt show any anxiety, afraid or shy....I am proud of you my dear..Cam x percaya lak that was my girl..Selalu nmpk anak org je cute2 jadi flower girl...but that day my own girl..hehe

But I know, may be some people will say mcm nk menayang anak plaks..but i dun mind because everybody have their own opinion. For me, this is one way to build up my daughter confident and self esteem. Not many kids can stand up in front of crowd but my Thahirah did it. Well done dear..We recieved a big thanks from bride's family for Ira's contribution.. To Kak Ma & hubby, Congrats and Selamat Pengantin Baru..Moga bahagia hingga ke akhirat sana...
